Starting off it’s life as an investor in the sciences, in 1992, Comet Scientific Ltd reinvented itself as a real estate investment company that sought out and participated in real estate related investment opportunities globally. Now, Comet invests in properties as well as land -commercial and residential- and seeks to maximise the return for both investors and shareholders alike. This mobility allows the company to participate in optimal structures to take advantage of investment opportunities that present themselves.
About us
Comet, along with it’s partners, plays a pivotal role in the real estate ecosystem as a capital investor with a primary focus on value extraction and creation in the real estate space. Its core competencies lie in its ability in identifying mispriced assets, pricing that variance, and correspondingly utilising the most efficient capital structure to maximise it’s potential.
Comet is not restricted to any one geographical market or property sector nor is it constrained by the usual need for real estate companies and developers to build in-house operational expertise. Rather, it seeks to create shareholder value by investing capital into an array of real estate opportunities, each with different risk profiles and appropriate risk-adjusted return targets. This is often done in collaboration with local partners who are experts in their markets and fields.

Direct Real Estate Investments
UNITED KINGDOM
Investing in historical buildings across the UK – the company converted historical buildings into both residential and commercial units before realising gains on their disposals. The company still maintains an active interest in a number of projects in the Brighton and Horsham areas
THE NETHERLANDS
Investment in a number of properties in Amsterdam. The mixed portfolio of both commercial and residential was fully divested in 2015
GERMANY
Comet began investing in Germany in the 1990’s and exited in 2018. This accumulation of assets generated gains in excess of Euros25 Million
ONE EDEN LUXURY – SPAIN
After analysing the potential of Spain, Comet began acquiring distressed assets in the Costa Del Sol in 2012. To maximise this potential, Comet established a Spanish vehicle, One Eden Luxury Living to oversee these purchases and to actively seek further opportunities. The development of these opportunities is ongoing, with huge potential and capital growth for our investors.
SINGAPORE
Testing the Asian market in the early 1990’s – Comet made a significant capital gain before exiting before the Asian crisis of 1997.
POLISH INVESTMENTS – USA
In 2012, Comet created and invested in Polish Investments LLC that purchased land and properties in the USA-with particular focus on Florida. By 2020, it had exited 90% of portfolio with a capital gain of over $50Mil.
We continue to maintain a presence there with rental properties and await the next cycle of investment
